Modern Art and Surrealism. Contemporary Art Sales
Surrealism is one of the leading movements of the 20th century. The ancestors of the style in the graphic arts are Italian painter Paolo Uccello, the British poet and artist William Blake, and the Frenchman Odilon Redon. From 1924 such artists as Max Ernst, Jean Arp, and the American painter and photographer Man Ray were among the members of the movement.
